Don’t have purses, scarves or excess jewelry, or just want to make a further contribution? Cash is always welcome! Take a look at what your dollars mean in terms of helping others and make a donation you are comfortable with. We support many organizations and projects locally and around the world.
Since our theme this year is “International”, here are a few of our international projects your contributions might support:
- $10 innoculates12 children against polio. Rotarians have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. For as little as $0.80, a child can be protected against this crippling disease for life.
- $50 buys 5 Days for Girls kits – made locally in Red Deer. Days for Girls empowers girls and women worldwide with more dignity, health, and safety through access to sustainable and effective feminine hygiene solutions and education. Because no woman should go without.
- $195 buys a wheelchair – Rotary partners with several organizations to provide wheelchairs to provide mobility for children, teens, and adults in the world who have no means to acquire a wheelchair.
Of course, these are suggested amounts – you may give us any amount you wish (minimum $3)
